sunday 7/25 post Travis week

 This is the week we have been waiting for Travis Scott Fragment Jordan 1!! 
 

This is a tier 0 release meaning these are going to be near impossible to get, just like al his other shoes. Fragment and Jordan have collaborated in the past to come out with a very similar looking shoe to travis Scott's idea. Fragment is a Japanese brand created by designer Hiroshi Fujiwara.This is very imortant because the last time fragment released a Jordan 1 was late 2014. Travis Scott released shoes very often but he has not released a Jordan 1 since early 2019. A picture of the shoe and the box was leaked back last month and people saw it and loved it. Right now Jordan 1 is the highest in demand Jordan out. These will retail for $200 and the after market right now is hovering over $2,000. So far, the only places I have seen online getting them are Footlocker, SNKRs app, and his website had a raffle for them. I have also seen people say that these sites might say the total stock of the shoe is 40,000 but then before they even make it to the websites pairs are backdoored. This means if people who come across them may pay a fee of $800 and up and they are able to skip the lines and just get the shoe. I am not sure how these stores determine who gets gets access to do this but it isn't me. Just recently on Friday a sample pair was seen on Travis Scott and people seem to like them more than the pair that is releasing (all shoes will be shown below). The pair is scheduled to release on the 29th, now there is not a set time and people aren't too sure if it will be a raffle or first come first serve. 

This is the sample pair and this is the pair people want to see released. Very similar to the collab just between Jordan and Fragment. 

This was the result of the two brands coming together for the first time in 2014. 

This is the final result that is releasing to the public, he took the original and put his own spin on it. This is a very clean looking shoe, just like the rest of the shoes he has released in the past. I hope you guys are able to get your hands on a pair!!

Wednesday 7/14 re-releasing old Jordans

 I personally am not a fan of what Jordan brand does when they re-release shoes they have came out with in years prior. Next month we are scheduled to see one of the rarest Jordan 4s come back out.

Tuesday 7/13 Bravest studios experience

I decided to give a rising brand in Bravest studios a shot because I think that their clothing ideas are really cool. This brand to me kind of started the wave of putting designer brand prints on mesh shorts and selling them, ever since they started it, it has created a whole movement. I started seeing celebs like Druski and NBA athletes wear them like Tyler Herro and Jalen Green, and to me if people of that level are wearing the brand then it has to be legit. Their shorts for one are good quality I will give them that, however I think that the retail price of $74 is a bit expensive for mesh shorts. The first order I placed with them, I ordered two pairs of shorts and the thing that threw me off was that they shipped my items separate. I received one of my pairs, then soon after I decided to email the brand to see what was up with my shorts I had not gotten yet. I waited two days for an answer, they then decided to tell me that the shorts went out of stock and I had to wait 3-4 more weeks after it had already been about 1 week since I placed my order. Now maybe this is just my luck and Its just a bad first experience, but this is very frustrating. To top it all off I got an email today saying is it ok if they send me a size small or a size XL after I ordered a size L. This was the most frustrating part of it all, so not only am I having to wait an extra month, but they want me to pay full price for a size that probably will not fit me. Like I said maybe this is just a bad experience and this is rare for them, but honestly I do not know if I will be ordering from them anymore after this. If anyone has also had a bad experience with them, let me know.  I am very curious to see what they will send me as far as sizing goes. Hoping to get an email back from them by tomorrow but they do respond pretty slowly. So if anyone out there is questioning buying from them I would have to say look else where first. For the price and the limited quantity of the shorts this is really turning me away. The shorts usually only last on the site for maybe 20 minutes before they sell out and they rarely rarely have restocks, and the shorts I got are a one time release only so it is unfortunate I may not get the size that will fit me. I will dish out an update on what happens with this order to further back if I would buy from them again. Friday 7/9 Supreme Season wraps up

The 2021 spring/summer season for Supreme has officially wrapped up and some people are on the fence about it. We did get some box logo tees which of course everyone loves but after that it was kind of a weak season in my opinion. Nothing too memorable, but the thing that did stick out to me was the Jet Ski they released which retailed over 10k.  I honestly feel as if people appreciate the smaller accessories more, for example the supreme baseball glove. Just a red Rawlings glove they released in the  spring/summer collection of 2012. A very simple idea and collectors value things like that because they know it's for one rare and two wayyy more affordable. A jetski for instance may not do everyone in the world any good. It is limited to the audience it is trying to be sold too. This is where people are starting to think Supreme is beginning to fall off, they are losing the interest of people. Mainly the people who were buying items before people knew they could make money off of any item. The collabs are just not amusing to majority of the buyers, and for one because they are too limited. This jetski for one is a purchase that had to be made only in store, already takes away from majority of buyers being a lot of people just go onto the app or website on Thursdays or do not get selected to wait in the line. Also, with collaborations buyers like myself look for a variety of items from the brand. My favorite collabs come from The North Face brand whenever they come together. The two brands always come up with a great selection of clothing for people to choose from. It varies from t shirts, hoodies, parkas,jakets,vests,gloves,bags and even little accessories. I feel like that is what people are looking for, especially the OG buyers and collectors. To me this was a weaker season, of course people love the box logos they put out, and for me coming together with Kaws again was a great move. Other than that, there wasn't any item or collaboration where I was excited to try and get that week. This is the first season since I started buying Supreme that I only bought one thing and that was just a normal t shirt week 1. Nothing stood out to me, now maybe for someone else out there this season was great or they liked plenty of items I didn't, and there is nothing wrong with that. I did see people constantly on various social media platforms that Supreme is dying or that it is dead due to their lack of caring anymore. Some buyers out there just feel like they stick the logo on anything and charge whatever they want for it. Maybe for fall/winter season we will see something different and more creative? I can only hope so for sure.

Thursday 7/8 Are dunks losing their hype?

 2021 has been the year of the dunk no doubt. We are seeing multiple pairs per week these days, but is Nike over saturating the market? Are they going to become the NMDs of Nike? The Adidas NMD was a groundbreaking shoe, it literally took over the summer of 2016, they were on people's feet left and right. Even then some pairs were going for more than $300, now those same pairs are hovering around $150 because nobody cares for them anymore and the hype around them is completely dead. I am worried this is going to happen with the Nike dunks, people are going to see how easy they are to get and some of these dunks are going to lose all value. So my question is, is now the best time to sell? If this to me is when the shoes are at the peak of their height, is now the time to get rid of them? Even though right now they are trendy and a very comfy shoe I do say now is the time to sell them, make the money while you can. I do not see Nike slowing down with the releasing of the dunks anytime soon, and I feel production and stock will only go up from here making them easier to get.  My hopes are Nike will see and learn from the downfall of their nike Rosche run, they produced too many of them and now the shoe is no longer even in store because it go played out and people got tired of seeing them everywhere they went. That to me is another part of buying the shoe, you know that it is hard to get and people who know about the shoe will take a second glance if you have them on. Makes having them 10 times better in my opinion, and maybe that just goes for me.
Is the hype for dunks dying a little bit? It seems like people are liking the colors Nike is putting out, today @ 10 am we are seeing the Laser orange pair coming out in women's sizing. A great color for the summer, love them. But we do all know that the SNKRs app isn't kind to many so say a prayer before entering the raffle!! #dunk #nike #badapp #summer2021

Check out this video regarding dunks and their current state. I own quite a few pairs of dunks and they are great shoes but some people are wondering is now the time to sell all their dunks while the market is as high as it is. Let me hear some feedback, what pairs do you have? Is now a good time to sell or do you think the market will continue to rise? 

7/7 Wednesday update, my week so far

 So far this week I have not found myself trying to get anything yet. Monday I decided to not go for the Yeezys, just not too big a fan of the color choice and the price, just was not worth it for me. Overall it seemed like getting into the raffle people didn't run into any problems and the release went smooth? Yeezy sply tends to have the sloooooow releases, anyone decide to get them?
